Hi to all attendees of the Osoyoos Lake Water Science Forum. Among many other outcomes the Forum appeared to be successfull in raising awareness, creating energy, and providing momentum. Some of the organizing committee thought that this site would provide a place for people to keep the interest and momentum going through communication. I have had a few suggestions from friends about steps we can all take, and I am sure there are many other ideas.
You could send an email of appreciation to your favourite presenter or your top 3 presenters
You could attend the next meetting of the Osoyoos Lake Water Quality Society (maybe join)
You could contact Eike Sceffler about the Oxbow Restoration Society, I'm sure that the society will be hosting an in depth presentation of their new data.
You could post something to this blog site
Enjoy, have fun, make a difference
